optical
I have not yet bought a router but i plan on buying bits at the same time. It will only be used on MDF for rounding edges cutting circles and rabbit cuts what bit or bits would be my best bet for what i plan to do? also if anyone has any advice on a router that would be great too. I had my eye on a porter cable router but havnt decided.
Ray
Pc router is great. I use a rigid for all my roundovers and rabbit cuts. And a old pos for circle jig. Bits youll need are a up or down spiral bit for circles. Whiteside makes fantastic bits. skittlesRgood
get a router with a tube for suction then get an up spiraling bit for just cutting holes. it will spit almost all the sawdust up into the vacuum. i would suggest dewalt but i have two of the same model that are broken and the repair guy at dewalt said the older, 15 year old, one was pretty impressive that it was that old. then i have a 50 year old craftsman that still works great. but then craftsman isnt the brand it used to be.
