twomanytoys
Does the SA12 sound good in a sealed enclosure? I know its not going to be as loud or hit as low but will it still hit hard in a sealed box. Also what does ^3 and F3 mean? I see specs for sealed enclosure says 1.00ft ^3 -- F3 of 44 hertz. Someone explain? I love the way it hits in the ported spec box. How much would I lose going sealed.
6berry
i dont know about an sa-12 in a sealed box but ^3 means cubed. like ft^3 is cubic feet. f3 is the point on a frequency curve of -3db. you would probably lose a lot by going sealed instead of ported Quote 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth
