System Troubleshooting

Ok so I have a hifonics HFI 100.4, Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X395 headunit, equalizer is a PPI ED.Z, and my speakers are 4 rockford T1 6.5 coaxials and two memphis power reference 6.5's hooked up to channels 3 and 4 with a pair of the rockford coaxials. The issue i'm having is that when I turn off my car with the radio and EQ on I get a loud pop on the speakers, the EQ's volume is at 1/2, the amps gains are set at 1/2. A few weeks back I started getting engine noise through the speakers so I checked my grounds and swapped them around a few times only with the same result. I left the ground hooked straight to the chassis of the car. After doing a bit of research on here I learned about the pico fuse that my kenwood and a lot of pioneers HU's have that sometimes blow and start causing engine noise. I grounded my RCA's and it went away but the popping is still there when I turn the car off. Any help would be appreciated, open to any suggestions!

you have a ground loop somewhere.

that is a good read. basicly check over ALL your connections and make sure they are solid/not shorting across anything.
