Chodes Heavy Chevy DC Build

Recommended Posts

from my experiance with a VERY similar truck ( 2WD version)

the back walls are VERY weak... i would brace it before putting a box in, i didnt and my back window seal is broken and the window is just flopping around..

subs forward port up seemed to work the best as well

they are, i have basically the same truck but 2wd. All i did was fill the bar across with expanding foam, put padding between the metal and the plastic and then put dense foam between the back of the box and the back wall which held it in place and took all the rattle away.

cant wait to see this done.

edit: and tennis balls shoved between the truck bed and the back wall helps.

start at the bottom. glue the first one. let it dry and get solid. repeat the process. it takes awhile to accomplish though.

Nick. Never knew you planed on putting anything in this. These trucks tend to do good on the meter. At least from what I've seen they have. As stated above, be sure to take care of the weak spots in the back, kills sound and number. I'm gonna stay tuned to this one!
