Aeroport ppl I need you

Recommended Posts

How did you get to 7 cubes after displacement when he asked to have between 5-5.5 cubes net? Also, he asked for 34hz not 32hz. Since you decided his port length to be 15" already, why can you not calculate port displacement but have to "guess"?

Because I used HIS MEASUREMENTS he gave me, and put them in Torres. And the tuning is HIS CHOICE with the Aero's, so unless you are helping him out, leave the thread man.

ANd port displacement as in what THE AREOPORTS DISPLACE WITHIN THE ENCLOSURE, NOT THEIR PORT AREA.

GTFU outta here man, you don't have a clue.

He may have more room but that doesn't change the fact he wants 5-5.5 cubes net. And I know wtf port displacement is. You have port area and tuning in the box volume you "thought" he wanted. What else do you need to find port displacement?

Just because you sprew some numbers and a picture doesn't mean you did anything right to help. I'm helping him save money rather than waste it on your design. MDF, glue, screws, and time aren't free.

heres a box to your specs. its 17 high x 31 wide x 21 deep. 2 6" aeroports that are 17" long and i made them stick 6" out of the box to be ported through your 6x9 holes. its tuned to 34.9 Hz and its 5.38 cubes net.

Haha thanks dude. Im trying to get a new design made up with aeros like you mentioned. Im gonna port through my 6by9s and face the subs through the back seat openings and seal it off. Maybe that 146.xx isnt real far away....lol j/k but I am shootin for some good #s maybe after i double my power it will happen..who knows

Lol O ok, you wanna side with the guy that didnt so shit for you, and had no clue what he was talking about. Edited.

First of all dude i appreciated the fact you were trying to help but the designs wasnt even close to what I was asking for and now you wanna have a little shitty attitude about nothing. Lol

Thanks dude that looks good. Would you happen to know how many sq.in. of port per ft3? And is that with flared ports?

Nice. Is 10.5 sq in a good # usually? I know slot they recommend 16 sq in but arent aeros different?

aeros are more efficient so you only need 9-12 inches per cubes

you should work a little with volume changing and port area changing on your current box since you just had it made. save monies. :)
