HELP

okay so i have a jvc kameleon head unit that was given to me and i took my old head unit out. before i took it out everything ran great. no weird shit happening to my car. i put my kameleon head unit in and just about every time i turn my car on i have to take the fuse out of my fuse block under the dash and put it back in. no fuses or anything is blown. any idea on what could be the cause? should i go in and redo all the connectors? any advice would be great

Did you wire everything yourself? On the old head unit and new?

What fuse are you fucking around with? And its never blown? Just fiddling with it makes it work?

EDIT: Was the head unit given to you because its a POS?.....

the guy gave it to me because he had no cage to mount it with. and yes i wired it myself. and no it hasnt been my first time wiring a head unit. countless times for me but this is a first. it is the electronics fuse on the factory fuse block. under the driver side dash. and no the fuse is never blown. i take the fuse out and pop it right back in and the head unit turns on. it does lose my settings though

(this is a first with the issue. ive never had anything like this happen to my installs

i used the harness that originally came with the head unit from the factory.
