we just recalculated the volumes.

came out to 22 ported and about 20 sealed. currently tuned to 48hz with 342 square inches of port. we tried smaller than that but it was hurting output.

bandwidth is great imo.. only thing that could stand to gain is numbers on the tl. it loud as hell on music.

How did you go from 12 cubes to 20 in the rear? Give me call if you get time Nick...

not a typo, but how is way to much when ray was just saying to add poly fill earlier to simulate it being larger?

i think way to much is being thought into all this. it was intended to be a loud daily driver with a goal of a 155, which it has done both.

i'm all for advice but currently the only thing we haven't tried is shrinking the sealed side. we've tried 4 different ports so far.

we could have gone larger on the ported side and sharpen the upper peak, which is really the only thing i see helping the numbers other than changing woofers... or going back to the original port but it was so large it was partially unloading on anything other than a burp at tuning.

I'd use 20 cubes sealed for 8 - 10 18s.

Im pretty sure ray was thinking it was 12 cubes sealed. The flat response is because of the low ratio of just over a 1:1

I'll edit after i finish reading.

Edit:

Shrink sealed chambers. Numbers should improve, and should still retain musical abilities.

This is just my opinion. But I am a n00b
