I had Did a 142 with ONE R 12 in my Impala once when I was just dicking around. Same exact amp too lower tuning is just hard. MACnonsence6 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 i have the same car sept purple. mad neon love! ima be posting a build/tear down log pretty soon its nice to see another good looking neon on here I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

Since you got a TL how 'bout some before and after deadener numbers! Oh and thanks to you, I'm reconsidering DC and thinking Type Rs. I just installed Type R 6.5" components in my Neon and they sound great. I love the R's in my Impala too I have never owned DC so I cant compare... lower tuning is just hard.
