iKidwell
i have a camry to lol go with 2 12s you will be way happier he might not have another $400 for another sub and $~500 for another 2kw+electrical for it... c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

dirtrider
i guess i should have been more specific haha, go with 2 lower level 12s, camrys are hard to get loud so i think the more surface area you have the better, and you dont have to run rated power to a sub just because its rated for it..... Shigshwa
Running 2 12 BTLs at 1000 each makes me spend an extra 400 to run 2 subs at half rated power...
Shigshwa
What I want to know at this point is whether I should tune a bit higher near the Fs, or tune closer to 30 for a little better response near that range. Or does it not make a difference?
Supercharged DCs
If Nick is suggesting 33hz, I'd tune it to 33hz. IJS... Bassless once again. Shigshwa
If Nick is suggesting 33hz, I'd tune it to 33hz. IJS... In that case, I might just add or subtract bracing to get it down to 33...
Supercharged DCs
If you don't mind, post your complete box specs (like port area, length, bracing displacement and the such). If you use Torres, you can take a screenshot and post it here.Looking at your dimensions, I'm a little weary on if you will be able to get the proper airspace, so I'm curious to see them. Shigshwa
I used Torres to design the box. I will post Pics and specs when I get home. Also, the net box volume is around 4 cubes according to the program.
