SUB BOX PICS

Ok so the gist is we often see these pics in a #D cad style look for sub boxes weather bandpass sub up port up whaetever and alot of ppl saying they use sketchup or winisd now this maybe a noob questions but how can i do that i have BBP6 and get my basic cust sheets there and the rest we build from my fathers and my knowledege (or think we now) of how to build structurally sound oxes and use the wter therory for sounds

but some of the pics i see like sum of the PWK designs or watever they are called have these cool ass 3d pics so you can see what the box will look like before you actually build it where do i get these proggys are they free or torrents or shahrewhare or wat and also what are they called

as id love to get a 3d image of a box design before we build it to see if it looks rite (sounds funny to say if it looks rite i know) but sounds is like water kid of the way it flows it prefers soft edges rather than hardcores sqaure ones the rounder the edger the more

even the back ripple of the watter same as sound waves well in my head it makes sense same goes for power up like + and - a little pos a little neg or ( little cold little hiot get the rite warm temp and then open up the taps) same with power and amps batts etc find

the rite combo of hot and cold then give them enuf hose pipe or in our case 0g cable to run as much as possible a little simplistic way to look at but its worked so far

so back to it where do it get the proggys to make these cool pics of 3d suboxes with dimensions etc of insdies and what the port lengths and widhts are etc without endlesslyu pluging in random numbers for an hour to get the HZ to the rite level of tune

Google sketch-up and the download it. It's free. There is also a tutorial on how to use it if you feel like sitting through it.

As for figuring out the specs, use Torres box calculator and ask here on the forum for a starting point.

cheers for that so whats winisd and is it useful i use the bassbox pro 6 all the itme and it works ok as far as a box calc goes but is win isd better or is there a better one than the BBP like the torres one you mentioned

it's mostly all preference. some people use multiple calculators. i made mine to try and make it as simple to use as i could. punch numbers in, get numbers out. i'm very confident in its accuracy as well
