Yea lol. I'm so used to calling it a car, so I guess I'm looking to buy another car? Any thoughts on a good car for sound?

Haha... A true basshead.... Dude you have an suv it should be fairly easy to get loud. No point to buy a new car. A double cab truck is like a cheat code when going for numbers though.(just a thought)

I bet a smart car would be easy to get loud. The hard part would be finding a place to put a sub.lol

But how, if a sub that sounds good in one car isn't as near as loud in my car, that eliminates everything but the car.

you didn't say what car you borrowed the 15inch sub from out of.

That was a honda civic. I have got some 100mm pipe and a 45degree angle elbow incase the ports are too long. But how do I work out the length to 350mm long with an elbow? Would I measure the outside our inner side to ensure it's the correct length? That should tune my box to around 35hz correct? Then minus 3hz for loss (I read that somewhere) so would that got me nice lows 40hz and then some good higher bass?
