trjohnst Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Ive been thinking about getting a battery for my Accord since I'm not going buy a HO alternator. I have a new 80 Amp alt with Knu 0 gauge wire, Crescendo BC2000D, and a AQ HDC3 15". I need some kind of battery to help with Voltage drops. I know it will add extra stress on the alt, and I know a HO alt is the best option. My car wont last too much longer so a battery is the way to go since I can put it in what ever car I choose. I was thinking about a XS Power battery, Optima Yellow Top, or Kinetik battery. I have a new battery under the hood, but if I need to change it, I might. What battery should I get for the rear and what model #? speedball1978 Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 no just get a battery that will nicely fit if you want to make some mods to fit a bigger battery then you could.. thats really up to you....i threw a d3400 in my 09 malibu even though it was 2 inches longer and half inch taller than my stock battery, it still works.. no flaws, and i didn't have any flaws with the shuriken battery either i actually still have it its 2 years old and still strong
