mousemonster1232
Quick question: So I have an AQ1200D amplifier, and two Dual D10 series subs. SVC Is there a way to hook them up without burning them? Shouldn't the clip light on the remote tell me whether or not it is safe? ALSO, how would I do it like which wires go where hooked up to amp Appreciated!

mousemonster1232
And I didn't buy anything. Someone wants to buy my amp for his sub, but he wants to hear it first, so making sure I don't blow anything while he hears it.
skittlesRgood
clipping light wont tell you if your overpowering the shit out of your subs. what is the power handling of the subs? the rms, not peak. blownengine
I cant even find the subs online. What are they rated for RMS? You can wire them in paralell for 800ish watts. Or in series for ???? watts. They dont list power at 8 ohms. If they are Dual brand subs I highly doubt they can take 800 watts. mousemonster1232
It's like 200wrms or something. I just want to show him them that it works and let him leave. I don't care what he does to em afterward.
blownengine
So you are going to sell him the amp and let him cook them on his own? Sounds legit. mousemonster1232
I already warned him. I told him it is a 1200w amp. And he said that's fine I just want to hear them in the time being because I'm upgrading anyway.
