i know this sounds stupid: but i lost one of the screws for the speaker wire for my amp

Recommended Posts

Just let my lil brother do it to learn and told him to turn it a bit and he turned it too far and stripped it, I'm pretty pissed cuz that's not something I think I can fix

Depending on what it is you can go to radioshack and get a new potentiometer for it and solder it in. Or maybe look into a amp repair shop to see how much they want to fix it or a new amp.

Make your bro grow up and pay for his damages :P Just make a post on here with what kind of amp you have and if anyone knows how to replace the gain knob on the amp. It shouldnt be that hard, the hardest part would be to find the SAME gain knob to put in. Other than that you just have to unsolder it and resolder a new one in.

Haha I would except this was a memorial build for his twin so honestly I can't be mad at him I shoulda watched more closely it's a sundown 2500d so its a bit more common I'm just upset cuz I'm already about 150 in debt with this build so I'll probably be a heck of slot more now

It shouldnt be that much to get it fixed. It wont hurt to make a post and ask about the repair cost, who knows maybe someone is local in your area and can cover the shipping to fix it.
