That's dangerous because both amps have to have the identical output ....not just gain set at half on both....but metered to exact output. Even then its ify. I'd say no

It is but if I remember correctly the impedance raise still causes issues.

I bought a dc level 3 15 d2 and had a sudden realization when i was shopping for amps. see i already have a brand new p300-1 that puts out about 400w rms at 2 ohms. Now my question is, if i got another one, could i power each voice coil individually?

You can do it, but its not the best way to go. I've done it before, gain matching each amplifier with no problems.
