poorboy6977
I recently picked this truck from another member here and figured id post pics of the work going in it. Its a 91 silverado bagged and bodied with a few other extras. Right now im in the process of making a few changes to the air ride as well as changing the interior to a 95+. here are some pics of the progress so far, mainly to the interior. im stripping the ranger and putting 4 XL15s in here for now, (recone to 18s later) and the 9K. trying to get it ready in time for MECA world finals. still have some welding to do to get the dash in and a few changes here and there. some more wiring to do with the bags and door poppers. hopefully it will turn out well when im done. Maybe even throw up some good numbers. Im on my quest for 160 starting here. CleanSierra
Love the frenched in Caddy tails. I've always loved those on that bodystyle truck. *Edit: Did I see new headlights in the box? Wonder why the guy did the phantom lower grille and not on the upper over the headlights.... theTank77
im not much of a fan of dropped trucks but this one looks really good. you should get some crystal headlights and signal lights and convert them all over to led's. i think a cowl induction hood would look sick too Edited August 22, 2011 by theTank77 Quote my build log

Wonder why the guy did the phantom lower grille and not on the upper over the headlights.... yes, those are new headlights. as far as the grille goes, couldnt tell ya.this interior swap is becoming a pain in the ass though. just little things here and there that need some persuasion. just finished welding in the newer steering column support in and changed out the brake booster to fit. next comes the interior wiring harness, dash, and door panels. then time to work on the engine bay. alot of wiring to do in there. poorboy6977
update: dash is in and the truck runs again. still have a lot of cleaning up to do on the engine harness. a lot will be deleted under the hood. some paint and wire loom and hopefully it will look much better. the wires still hanging under the dash are from the door poppers. they will be removed and integrated in to the factory keyless entry. CleanSierra
Good job man. Looks really good with that 95 dash in it. Is it totally in, or just kind of mocked in there? poorboy6977
Good job man. Looks really good with that 95 dash in it. Is it totally in, or just kind of mocked in there? it is bolted in and hooked up. everything is connected and working in the dash itself. i still have a lot to do on the door panels to get them to fit/work right, but it shouldnt be too bad, Quote TEAM TRUTH HERTZ DC LVL5 12 DD M1C American Bass Mids/Highs XS Power D3400 and D3100 Ohio Generator 270 alt MECA Illinois Event Director DC Audio Sales Rep American Bass Distributor Audio Technix Dealer Incriminator Audio Dealer
