Stee-Z Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 i really want to upgrade my crap speakers ( pioneers in front.. VR3's in back) dont laugh XD haha i know their sht, to focals. I want two 5 1/2" and two 6X9 focals. I have heard they sound like jesus singing. I already have the nice bass with my 9515 DD, now i want super clean awesome MIDS / HIGHS!!! I also don't want to spend thousands haha like the really good sets of focals. can someone help me find good focals that arent the most expensive, but will make me cry everytime i listen to music? I have read their about 400 dollars for a pair so i wanna keep the range around $800 or less. and i have no idea of what websites have the best deals for these. So if anyone can help me find a good pair of focals .... i will cry .. then buy them . Thanks ! acarolan Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 by 2 do you mean 2 speakers or 2 pairs? if you want to do 2 pairs of focals front and back you're going to spend probably 1300 on speakers alone MINIMUM with their lowest 'entry level' speaker, being said; their 'entry level' speakers are pretty damn sexy. i have polyglass 6x9s and they get LOUD and they have amazing highs even though they're coax and they are also super bass-y. but in lieu of your request try the performance line (new from focal, or the tried and true polyglass line) ps 130. 5 1/4 midbass. or if you want a bit more bass upfront theres also the ps 165 with 6.5 midbass http://www.focal-america.com/category/speakers/ aside from that if you wanna save try the access line, you'll save about 100 per pair and you really won't be disappointed unless you're a serious audiophile
