Ahh man, this is great.. I wish I had this for my Honda Civic. It is the same basic curves around the rear wheels. Good design man. Seems like with that sort of design though you could fit a lot more than just 2 12"s maybe 2 15"s? Hm. I like it!

Cheers!

^^^Height was limited to 15", so 15's were out of the question.

Ahh yep, I think mine is at 14.75" ! But mine goes between the lift arms for the trunk. If the lift arms werent there I think we would be able ot get another 4-5"

I have been looking into Trunk Struts for my civic. Incase I wanna do a new build, but just havn't found the right ones yet.

But I like the idea.

Do you know if that box is gonna have to be built inside the trunk, or will you be able to slide it in through the cabin, or even maybe just slip it through the trunk?

I've always found it to work better when using 45's instead of sharp 90 degree turns if there has to be an offset in the box. I don't know whether or not there's a difference going from a plain ol' rectangle to what I did in this design. I'm sure actual results are pretty install dependent where other factors are affecting it as well.

Looks like mine but I did straight sides alot easier for me, box sits on top of 3/4 wood floor. 2 12, 2 4 inch pvc ports with flares in the middle of the box and subs all facing the cabin. Box can be removed from the trunk to get at the spare if needed. This design of box works good for civics do to the small trunk. :clapping:
