alexmarzouca
What's up guys,Alex here. Firstly, I'd like to say, never let your brother run your subs, especially in a sealed box. On one of my tens, the surround is torn pretty badly, ( http://oi52.tinypic.com/2ut3iap.jpg ) . How could I go about fixing this? I know its best to fix both if I get one fixed, so I'm willing to do that. If anyone can show me a place to go, or help me get this sorted out, It'd help a lot. I've tried to call Rusty twice, but I haven't gotten through to him. Running them with an AQ2200 (soon to be DC3500) in a 2006 BMW 325I Thanks in advance! p.s. probably time to update the signature eh? speedball1978
email rusty if he can't answer the phone.. sometimes that will get his attention.. or just ask for ana, and get a recone for both subs
technics
Recone dude unless you can do a temp fix with some CA glue but it depends how bad it is.. Check out the DC section and even if you cant get onto rusty theres a few reps that will be able to help
CJ18
Can you please post a picture of the subs. You really have 2 options. If the tear isnt too bad then you can just go to home depot and pick up some goop and apply it to both side of the surround where the tear and it should take care of it. If the surround is torn to bad to fix with goop then you will need to recone the subs. We do now offer 2 different upgraded surrounds for the 10" subs. Option 1- reinforced surround Option 2- Big Ass wide roll surround I dont have a picture of this but it is huge. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
