skittlesRgood Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 unless this is a 5-10 year plan. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. dohckiller808 Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 the apx are very musical in terms of how much power you can shove into them. my daily for a while was a stetsom 11k2d @.5ohm at 2 15" apx. sound real damn good.
Hitman813 Posted September 4, 2011 Author Report Posted September 4, 2011 about how much box space do they need
Bluliner Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 SQ has more to do with your front stage than what subwoofers you use. If you want subs that sound good and can get 'nasty loud', you're probably looking at IDMAX. You won't need anywhere near the amount of power you think though. A solid 1kW from a non-POS amp & the right box will be enough to chase you out of the car. I don't understand why anyone would want a system with 24kW of power when 1/20th of that is enough to blur your vision and make you nauseous until you turn the volume down.

Hitman813 Posted September 4, 2011 Author Report Posted September 4, 2011 idk if id be able to pull off 20 cubes and even if i could i couldnt justify puttin 15s in it i would go with 18s if i could pull 20 cubes and i wont even know what id be able to pull off till i measure the car tomorrow
