juanharu4913
I looked around and couldn't find an answer but heres the question. Can I use a alternator for lets say a honda or something else on my hyundai tiburon if u have an adapter for the plugs? Or would that mess up the computer even if i got it to fit and run? I'd assume that most alternators run about the same except the voltage and even thats probaly either 12 or 14. Thanks for the reply.

If you can find a way to customize where the alternator bolts go then go for it, but it's really not recommended. What year and engine is your hyundai? bass_stalker
you would have to make a custom bracket and get custom plugs made for it and it would most likely mess with the computer. for what you would pay to do all that you could most likely get the proper alternator JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow. LoudBimmer
you can email mechman, dc power ect and they can build you any size alt. Most likely it will cost little more, but it's better be safe then sorry.
Skullz
Another option is adding a second alt that is a 1 wire common gm type alt to make modifying brackets or making new ones for it to fit would be a more realistic option to go. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
