What about the Atomic apx/xx? They can take huge amounts of power on burps..

Id throw in the lms5400 but i guess the ss xxx has a similare motor design, the 4hp based.

I think the DD Z could take most hands down.. An SMD couldalso take quite a bit, with a split 4" coil..

But the motor of the DD Zs tho are HUGE. They even make the XXXs look tiny. But again the XXX QVC 1 ohm still wins in my books at about 7k rms 24/7, 10k for half hour and 35000 for 30 seconds 0.o

Yeah the Z is a one tone sub.. Music would souns shit on it.. I bet the coils gap is tighter than a baby's A-hole lol.. And that neo motor is HUGE.. With loadsss of force in there. Magneticly wise, the Xxx is a baby compared to it.. But eith a price tag of 2k.. Ouch

But I've heard 1 XXX 18 with 10k rms pushing (tuned at 28 HZ) and I couldn't believe the lows on it. It took a toll when the port was flexing and it cracked about 4 months of beating

Why does QVC 1ohm matter? That just gives you more wiring options not power handling.

But once again, no the XXX isn't the best sub. A site can say all they want about power handling, that doesn't necessarily mean it's true. So until you see an XXX take that power without damage then it's just hype. (Anne I hope you're talking about the old XXX cuz the new one can't even dream about taking that much power).
