EBW Posted September 11, 2011 Report Share Posted September 11, 2011 I've run hifonics amps for years... currently running a XX Thor on 2 SA15s... but they do like power, its not a sundown amp your not going to get 1900 out of a 1500 watt amp but they do rated and some can handle higher voltage... the thor does 3k at 14v 4k+ at 16v and 5k at 18v I do agree with most when someone says the old hifonics is a better amp but that's only cause maxxsonics went with cheap components on most everything but mb quart, still love them the brz line are beastly, but the bx,bxi,brz and xx/v lines do rated their older zues 4 chans used to do more than rated but not sure about the new ones.
