yes ive had that happen.  They arent meant to run constantly but you must be really honkin that horn to get that compressor hot....aim a small fan directly at at it, it should help.  Sounds like theres not much circulation around it.

Always nice to have a "different" horn that you can hold onto that will either really piss that person off that cut you off or scare the fuck out of them...I always hold it until I hear the compressor going then I let it charge up.

People in Miami love to honk...LOL when I go to NC or a different city it's a whole different world...We were rated worse drivers for a reason ;)

What compressor and tank are you running?  A lot of people make the mistake of running a little peashooter pump with a giant tank, and they end up either hitting the thermal cutoff or ruining their compressors prematurely...  let me know what kind of compressor you have and we can figure out what size tank you should be running.

Had a small 180c compressor with a 3gallon tank...Sold today ;D

Hoping to go next with a 480c compressor and a 12gallon tank :^

Looks like my horn was messed up because of two things...

One the pump switch wasn't working properly.

Two, I messed up the valve for the second time. Don't know how :-[
