How Do I Calculate 45's And Bracing Volume?

same way you find box volume...say if you are using a 2 x 4 that is 10" long (granted they arent exactly 2 x 4..but...) then you just do 2*4*10=80cubic"...80/1728=.0463cubes....unless you are using a bunch of bracing you can see that it almost isnt worth figuring up since it doesnt take up that much....

as far as the 45's go....just measure how far you go in both directions from the corner. like say from the corner of the box you measure down 5" and then measure across 5" and then you put your 45 in there...all you do is take 5" x 5" x whatever height your box is. then take half of that answer since its a triangle and divide it by 1728...so say your box is 10" tall...you would do 5*5*10=500...500/2=250...250/1728=.14468cubes
