Does its copper casing add anything, or is it strictly so you can have the knowledge that you have a amplifier in a copper heatsink? Beside the obvious reason of copper being a good heat transfer material. To that effect, does the copper casing on headunits add anything? Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Ray Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 I didnt say the rf amp is crap. Id run it. Since brax is now dist thru rf id look for brax/helix in one of his upcoming builds. He has said himself that they are awesome pieces As for copper. When you have such tight tolerance pieces, the resistance within every piece do add up, so less resistance within the chassis can be a big deal as long as the rest of you gear is up to par. Im not saying run a copper c7 tru on your jensen hu.
