i picked up a 92 2/8 5 speed with 163,000 miles on it for 700 bucks. its kind of a salvage project compaired to the last few. here it is when i first brung it home.

came with a bed they tried shaving and a few missing lights a hole in the bed and zip tied tail lights

Maybe look into doing a 14v or 16v alt just for the musik..idk just a suggestion I was thinking about doing that.

But it looks like you got a project.:) projects are always fun and the end result is the best when your finished.hehe ..Then back to point A, you wanna go bigger or do something differnt. Thats how I am, I get done and want more... Audio is soo addicting.

so i found 2 deals i couldnt go without so i guess the trucks getting a v8 as well. i found a t350 with b&m shift kit and tci 2200 stall for a 140 bucks and a good running 109,000 mile 99 250 hp vortec 350 for 100 bucks.

tuned in for this, v8 swap yummmm, are you gonna put all the shiny goodies on the engine? like valve covers, intake, carb, etc etc?

the motor as of now i just getting cleaned up new gaskets and painted black. then all the chrome boltons i can find. i figure its a standard cab s10 a stock 350 with a nice intake carb and heads should be more then enuff. plus if i wire it right i can run a large single wire alt for my compressors and whatever i figure out with the stereo
