DD-1 quick question

Ok so thanks to steve for an awsome product and i dunno how many people in aus got one but i do big thanks to ray who shipped it and was helpfull

anyway only question is i got the pioneer flip out head unit. fairly new but anyway i was tryna set max volume with the 40hz tone (3 rca out 1 for sub so using that one) as i do mainly burps so just testing. and it went up to max volume on track 1 the 40hz 0db.

that normal? should i use another track ect ect.

tryed do research but it showed nothing when i went looking. cheers

some cd players can be turned up to full volume without clipping, so it's not necessarily a bad thing. same thing happen with the 1khz track?

was your eq flat with? bass knobs/eqs up all the way?

I was setting my pioneer up and I turned it up all the way and didn't see any clipping then I realized mt bass knob was only up half way lol. Find your max for highs too. If it goes up to lets say 38 before clipping. then go back to your sub outs turn you volume up to 38 and then turn your sup level up till you get clipping

naa i don't think the sub channel puts out the 1k? can't get to my 4ch as it boxed in with batts and sub ect..fitting a lvl 6 a 9k and 2 batts is hard in a trunk LOL and my eq all flat should i turn bass boost up or the eq freq to like +db? just playing atm as im useing it as fun till i do wall so testing..

and i don't think sub rca puts out high freq? as its set to max 63hz so i don't put stupid bass through it..learnt that hard way LOL

but i shall test 2moz at mates shop i hope.

I dunno something sounds off. I've tested a few different HU's since I got mine and I haven't run into that. Are you using a bass knob? On my pioneer when set my sub out xover I can adjust the sub out on the same screen. up to +8db I think. so if its the same on yours if thats on 0 it wont clip. mine doesn't clip until +3db @56 volume which is right before my my clip
