Amp not turning on...

I just bought an Amp and I hooked it up but its not turning on I checked the amp and the cables on by buddies car and they all worked. I checked the battery and is putting out 12 volts and the alternator is putting out 14 volts. Can anyone tell me why the amp aint turning on?

What kind of amp is it? Did you hookup all the +shipping and -the inputs? Did you hook up the remote turn on? Is the radio on? Do you have the "sub" setting on the radio on? Is the amp grounded good?

Planet Audio 1200.2 Amp, Had everything hooked up including Remote turn on, idk about the sub setting on the head unit, I belive it was grounded good.

I would check with a DMM at the amp terminals for proper power and check all the fuses at the amp too if power is at the terminals.

is your power cable from the battery to your amp fused? if so is there a fuse in there.. (did it a couple of times myslef)

take pics of your connections. left and right side of the amp.

As of right now, sound's like you have blown fuse somewhere or your remote turn on is not hooked up right.

yes if you can post some pictures cause i have a feelin i know what it is but im not entirely sure
