Magna94 Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 (edited) I just bought an Amp and I hooked it up but its not turning on I checked the amp and the cables on by buddies car and they all worked. I checked the battery and is putting out 12 volts and the alternator is putting out 14 volts. Can anyone tell me why the amp aint turning on? Edited September 14, 2011 by Magna94 Quote
LoudNLow931 Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 What kind of amp is it? Did you hookup all the +shipping and -the inputs? Did you hook up the remote turn on? Is the radio on? Do you have the "sub" setting on the radio on? Is the amp grounded good? GSanders17 Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 I would check with a DMM at the amp terminals for proper power and check all the fuses at the amp too if power is at the terminals. Quote

LoudBimmer Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 take pics of your connections. left and right side of the amp. As of right now, sound's like you have blown fuse somewhere or your remote turn on is not hooked up right. Quote
