bassrace
Alright I am putting my flared ends on the inside of my box tomorrow and im curious to know if it affects air flow if the port is all the way inside the box vs all the way outside box(the flared end being the only thing inside of the box), this seems to be most efficient in my pov but I dont know does anyone have any input? Btw I've tried to research this already with no luck. Thanks in advance. Then no, it doesn't, the only thing it changes is how much volume your port takes up, which in turn changes your net volume of your enclosure which would then effect your tuning. bassrace
Yes i know moving the port in and out would affect tuning, net vol. and port area but I mean if all the port out is of the box and only the flare is on the inside vs. The whole port inside the box, would the air flow be better if only the flare was on the inside and the rest of the port was out side the box. MrSkippyJ
not that I know of. And moving your port in and out of the box doesn't affect port area Quote F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69

bassrace
anything inside the box will affect airflow Thats what I figured. I wonder if it would make as big of a difference as a db or 2? Considering net vol. and tuning were the same.
