RAM_Designs
This is a box for a single Sundown Audio SA-8 woofer. Since the chamber is so small, the port needs to be considerably longer than normal to maintain a low tuning while still providing adequate port area. As you can see, some dead space had to be used to drop the volume a little. Volume: .55ft^3 Tuning: 33hz Dimensions: 30" wide x 10" tall x 11" deep Quote Ryan Miskin - owner of RAM Designs I have my PM's turned off, please email at <script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> 2200+ designs since March 2011... RAM_Designs
nice looking box! should be pretty efficient uh? The owner will have a lot of power on tap, that's the main reason for going with a slightly smaller box than I usually would. So, although the smaller volume reduces efficiency across pretty much the entire bandwidth, he has the power to make up for it.
