FroznBeavrBALLs
im a little confused. Im planning my front stage with Alpine SPS-610C in the front doors, and Alpine SPS-619 in the rear deck... Im planning on running all of them on the MB Quart ONX4.125. the wiring is my main concern. On SonicElectronics it doesnt say that the amp is 1 ohm stable. So i cant wire in parallel to 1 ohm. Should i wire them to 4ohms where the amp will output 125 @ 4ohms x 4chan.??? ive never ran a 4 chan amp before, so i wanna make sure i know what im doin before i mess my amp up or something... is the MB Quart 4.125 stable at 1ohm? focku
just wire it up one speaker per channel nice and easy Yes. Also most 4channels Ive seen are not 1 ohm stable.
Decaf
use each channel at 4ohms to power each coaxial. that amp is 2ohm stable btw, not 1 ohm... also u ruin the stereo effect in music if u were to wire them in parallel
FroznBeavrBALLs
ok it didnt say that it was 1 ohm stable, thats why i was just asking. thanks for the advice. i stupidly didnt think about just wiring each speaker into its own channel. Decaf
2 coaxials per channel wired in parallel. keep in mind the amp makes 250w X 4 @ 2ohms Edited September 24, 2011 by Decaf
