MACnonsence6
max w-30" max d - 15" max h - 17" wondering if i have enough space to do one 12 in a t-line. I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

stipek
I'm no t-line master either but from what I gather even if you tune to 40 your tunnel will be roughly 7 ft long and your port area needs to be the same as the cone area which is around 100. So your port needs to be 15 by 7 or 17 by 6. In either way you run the tunnel you need 3 passes with your width to get to 7 feet so you are not tall or deep enough for that. I used rough numbers but all in all I say no. rusty959
No you don't. Here ill do the calculations but im not going to make them pretty for tline 7 ft long, which is aprox 40hz assuming 12" is the diameter of sub (I don't feel like taking into account surround, doesn't matter) 6*6*3.14*12*7 / 12^3 = 5.495 cubic feet assuming you could use all the space, which you can't. what you have 30*15*17 / 12^3 = 4.43 cubic feet assuming you could use all the space. 2013 Subaru BRZ12" Orion HCCA on AQ 22001967 mustang restoration project: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110765-mustang-restoration-build-2011-edition/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/therusty959
