I was going to cut up some cardboard and make a dummy wall on one side and measure accross.. is there a better way to do this? 2009 Subaru outback impreza sport hatchback. My measuring ability is the reason my current box doesnt fit back there I would just go with the smallest width. Are you trying to make the box slant and follow the back of the seats? RooTxBeeR Posted September 29, 2011 Report Share Posted September 29, 2011 Do a single box for each different spot, I have a hatchback to, so Make one big dimension from a straight line off your seats to the ground, as far wide without hitten somen across, then to the back without hitting antyhing. Thats one box, then do the same thing for each and every other spot that sits with the original box and add in the space you get from each on of those to come up with a total cu.
