unknownuser200985 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 would you rather have a straight wall with a few top of the line subwoofers with alot of power... or a claimshell design with a bunch of mid class subwoofers with a mid amount of power ... both would be 18" subwoofers and ported... which basically is a more efficient way of doing things?
Torres Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 depends really. example...2 18's with 3k each to them in the wall...or 4 18's in a clamshell with 1500 a piece. i'd go with the 4 18's cuz same power, but more cone area = louder (given the install is proper for the subs)
