I got the idea from seeing somebody put sound deadening on the inside of their port for sound quality. I am trying to do that to my box, but have a bunch of bracing that would make it a PITA to do with sheets.

the reason they put in a sheet of deadener would have been because of the foil. its smooth and air flows over it better. adding a spray would leave a textured surface.

if some spray on deadener or bed liner actually made a structural difference in the box that the wood couldnt handle, we would all be making boxes out of 1/4" wood and spraying it with bed liner.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

i have always wanted to add deadener inside my box too, just to see if it makes a diff on the termlab.

technically it should make the box a lil stronger rite ?...

grab a sheet of sound deadener, now grab a sheet of MDF and try to flex each one.

See which one flexes easier and the other doesn't? Sound deadener doesn't adds strenght to mdf or anything that is strong.

Door panels are flimsy, that's why sound deadener helps.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
