Torres Posted December 14, 2007 Author Report Posted December 14, 2007 been using my sister for text tricks. couple problems, 1...she has thick hair. i get a little movement but nothin crazy. and 2...the bass vibrates my cd player, so it makes it skip. so i can only turn it up to a certain volume lol. hoping to get an ipod soon to stop that problem. so i'm hopin for good things

Torres Posted December 14, 2007 Author Report Posted December 14, 2007 i used to have an 18" solo x. it was pretty loud. didnt have the best amp for it, but i hit 147.xx on the meter. i ended up getting another and made a wall and upgraded the amps, but wasnt happy with how it all sounded. wasnt near as loud as i thought it shoulda been. so i took it out and redid it all. now i'm fi/sundown and happy all in all, i think it'll move air. enough to do a hair trick? not quite sure. maybe a little, but not like she has her head out the window going down the highway lol. and btw...i hear they tend to blow. meaning some recones are in order. and not very efficient woofers. takes a lot more power to get them to sound the way they should. but i'm not 100% sure on that. just what i've heard
