daniel1204
I am so so so confused about what just happend I understand the car may restrict power but like most systems won't a direct power wire prevent this the ecu can restrict that ?? Plus my subs are 500w Rms each not an insane system yet and 2 500w Rms Amps I was planning on going 4 gauge and then t split that into 2 8 gauge wires for the Amps and 2 separate grounds obviously??? Or will I need a Dedecated system battery ? Quote I Am Never Wrong, Just Often Mistaken......

Trigg
jeep cherokee ^^^^ I'll go along with that one! Quote there is some VERY hard headed people out there. Anyone who says a DD-1 isnt necessary is also saying an O-scope isnt necessary. Anyone who says an O-scope IN THE MINIMUM isnt necessary, is a noob. Forget the DD-1 for a minute, any reputable installer will at LEAST use an O-scope. Those guys in that thread are clowns. Hard headed clowns. armykyle1
I dunno, I've worked on a few subies, old and new, I've seem 14v flat and 14.5, and honestly you shouldn't charge above 15v but that's my opinion. Once you figure subies out, they're a breez to work on. Pretty tough cars from what I've seen.
