New car system options

Recommended Posts

Im gonna put in a sub/subs in my new car using my Hifonics amp w/ 1500 watts at 1 ohm. And I was deciding between a level 4 15" w/ level 5 upgrade and maybe a cf dustcap cuz that looks sexy or 2 level 3 12" maybe with cf dustcaps if money allows but Im not sure how much a level 3 12" goes for since they are out of stock at the moment. Opinions?

well since the level 4 with a level 5 upgrade would want almost twice that power i would say the 2 level 3's. plus youll get more cone area from 2 12's

Why would the level 4 want twice that power when even with the upgrade it doesn't handle as much as the xl that is rated at 1500 watts exactly which is what I would run the lvl 4 at

The hifonics wont do rated and you can put 2k on a upgraded level 4. It would still prolly sound ok but I'd do 2 level 3s

spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power
