Audio-Concepts Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Damn, it looked good even before the airbrushing! Any pics of it wrecked? No, I spent the first 2 months in the hospital. By the time I got back to the house to see the damage, a couple great friends of mine had already started the rebuild! I spend 2 months in a wheel chair building, polishing, rebuilding the engine, fixing the plastics I could, and buying used for the ones I couldnt piece together. Then I finally got clearance to try and walk again, 3 months after that I was riding, then a week after being cleared to work I was at the track racing again! That first weekend back the bike new and improved went 8.45 @ 171mph!! People still say I am insane for that, but that was the only way not be frightened! Only way to get over the fear of racing was to just dive right in. Racing was my source of income for years, whether it be cars or bikes! I could usually make 30-40k a year by racing on the weekends. Yeah I have had 5 fox bodies, my lx hatch was the fastest, till this one! I should be running mid high 6's on slicks, but gonna try drag radials too. Putting in an LSX 427 with 108mm turbo!! Should be close to 2000 rwhp!
