I dropped my SE MOTOR and now have a hairline crack in it and I epoxied (3200psi) the hell outa it, does it affect the strength of the motor at all?

Wouldn't a cracked magnets magnetic field change?

not entirely if the 2 halves were separated yes it would change drastically but if they are really close together im sure the change is minimal

OP for the sake of the sub it should still work but if it is cracked all the way through i would look into finding a new motor take some pics and post them up so we can asses the damage

Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged

Too late for pics it was just a hairline the whole way around I'm re-building soon any way, was just wondering lol
