Freshman6969
Alright im sitting here trying to crunch numbers and im having a hard time trying to figure the port, the over all inside dimentions are 32 1/4 high,,35 wide and X deep, i have a max of 40inchs deep, i want the port to be 4" wide and 32 1/4 high, if its smaller hight wise idc, i had the whole thing calculated but i just realized i forgot to take the false floor into sccount so ill get nack with numbers I need to jave 12 cubes, and id like 30hz tuning, also everthing is going to be double 3/4 aside from the inside port Edited October 26, 2011 by Freshman6969 Quote Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Why would you EVER WANT flex?huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct? RickyFriery97
the port height will be inner dimensions, so remember to take away the width of the wood on each side, so if your wall is 32.25" tall and you have one peice of 3/4" for top an bottom(just for example) take away that 1.5" and it gives you 30.75" port height. Edit, just saw you said inside dimensions..either way hope this helps iv done too many draw ups and forgot to do this^ lol Edited October 26, 2011 by RickyFriery97 Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer

Freshman6969
Would pvc piping be noisy? I have a wall worked out to pretty much how i want it with, 4 4" ports eacch 7" long, 34.25x38x21 1/4 , doubled 3/4 all around, the math adds up to the calc, id just need to take the bracing into account then i should be good, im shooting for a daily monster with decent numbers Quote Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!
