SundownSaz1500
Heys guys, I've been wondering what to do with my build. I have an 04 Subaru wrx with a big 3 upgrade, 0 gauge and a kinetik 2400 in the trunk running a saz 1500d. My voltage drop isn't bad right now, but I'm thinking about adding another 1500d or getting a 3000d. I would add another 2400 in the trunk, but I'm trying to keep my stock alt whitch is 75-80 amps. Any ideas? Like I said, trying to avoid the alt upgrade.
cjvue
That alt is too little to supply 3000wattrms on a daily basis. Added more batteries will allow you to run your system longer but without the proper charging system, eventually something will stop working. I would consider an alt upgrade first but thats just me... fmedina
Ya agree with cj. For 3k rms a Ho alt is necessary for a proper install on a daily driver. Unless youre ok with putting your batts on a charger every time you bump full tilt.
SundownSaz1500
Yeah I thought so. I'll probally charge them every day for a while and then eventually get a new alt. thanks for the help guys.

Guest
ebay high output alts ARE cheaper than batteries, although they suck major cock. i've owned two "high output" alts for my car. absolute equal shit performance from both.
