If you connect switch something is wrong on lock side. Not sure haven't done a my alarm for a year I forget lol a good installer would pop off both switches and test with powerprobe. n8ball2013 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Share Posted October 28, 2011 if it doesnt lock with the door swtich itself its not the install. well it oculd be. if he tried to wire using the module and had to cut the wires for the five wire. I dont know why he'd do this. but it also should not work with a swtich unplugged. I could go out to my truck right now and pull either switch off and they would not lock. Id take it back to him and say WTF did you do because this isnt right. cris2216 Posted October 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 28, 2011 have you checked your fuses. i see the problem i replaced the fuse then locked and unlocked manually on the drivers switch then tried it on the passenger and it only locked but when i tried to unlock it i heard a pop and it was the fuse again? I have no idea how he's managed to get the doors to function independently. Yours should be the exact same as mine. I grabbed one set of wires at the switch itself. If I want to unlock independently I set the double pulse up.
