How much of a difference would a 15" sub with a displacmmt of .21 would it make from a sealed 1.54 cu ft box to a 3.75 cu Ft ported box spl wise would it be alot more bass or only a little it's a power acoustik 15" fubar 2000 peak 1000rms oh and ported tuned to 35.42 hz

i'm thinking quite a bit of difference. that's usually the case in every situation.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

It makes an insane difference. I have also found that ported gives some more cone control, so you can run a bit more power without the sub bottoming out (if that was ever a problem)

Lol well I got the sub for like 30$ it looks and sounds brand new, but the box it came in is trash, it's got 1.50 cu ft air roughly and the sub touches the bottom, and it's got a PVC pipe that looking at Torres is making the box tuned to roughly 20 hz xD so I figure a 3.75 cuft or so tuned to 35 would make it a monster? Lol it flex the window right now, in a 97 mustang, 2000.1 power acoustik crypt amp on it, prolly gunna do big 3 upgrade pretty soon, getting tired of headlights dimming
