Both have their ups and downs, like xbox live, yes you have to pay for it, but it's never been down for months. Yes PSN is free, but limited compared to XBL. And on an opinion standpoint, I hate the PS3 joysticks, convex sucks compared to concave for thumb controlling.(also just the fact that they've been the same old thing since pre-2000) You don't slide off during some intense CoD on an xbox. You will corrupt flash drives if you take them out while in use or shut them down without waiting for the USB bus shutting down.
