white4d96
My friend got ATE? rotors from Tire Rack and Hawk pads and loves them. I got cheap rotors and some Raybestos ceramics from Rockauto for like $60 for the axle IIRC but I'm not as happy with mine. Quote Too many projects, too little time... armykyle1
I bought a set of front and rear rotors from R1 concepts. cross drilled and slotted, and ceramic pads. Zinc coating too. Huge improvement over the stock brakes. I think I paid 220 or something, not bad for four rotors and two sets if pads. I've been running them for over 2yrs and now I finally need to do a brake job. I drive stupid hard too. The rotors up front have a small shimmy, most won't notice but I'm really picky Quote TEAM XS POWERTEAM HEAVY HERTZMy build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194454-e46-bmw-build-pos/#entry2914134youtube- http://www.youtube.com/user/armykyle1big build starting

Trey_Dog650
Thanks for all the replies guys. Really appreciate it I bought a set of front and rear rotors from R1 concepts. cross drilled and slotted, and ceramic pads. Zinc coating too. Huge improvement over the stock brakes. I think I paid 220 or something, not bad for four rotors and two sets if pads. I've been running them for over 2yrs and now I finally need to do a brake job. I drive stupid hard too. The rotors up front have a small shimmy, most won't notice but I'm really picky I just went with r1 and got me some slotted brakes and the posi-quiet extended wear. I hope they last a long time too lol. Im not too hard on them Now if anyone can help me out on how to change them that would be great lol Quote 13 Kia Forte Build! 07 Hyundai Accent Build ***Super Seller*** N8ball2013 And then he gets to say ok all you guys were right. im sorry for being a dummy poo poo head. Chally
Here is a pretty good but basic video on how to do discs. Disc brakes are fairly easy to do but drums are a pita.
