amp blown, i want to fix it

Hey guys, been a while. busy with work and school 7 days a week.

Today after 3 years of bangin my hifonics TXI1508 fried on me.

Took off the back panel of the amp and its black around a couple of the big transistors.

Does anyone have any advice for fixing the hifonics amps or is it pretty standard as far as getting the new transistors?

I would like to try and salvage it, and if not I wouldnt mind giving it to someone on here as long as they pay shipping.

pics would be useful so we could tell you what we think could possibly be the problem (thought it still could be something else)

I was playing it pretty low and with the boost knob turned off. just noticed the smell first and turned the knob to feel if the subs were responding and didnt hear them. turned my amps off, went home and started trouble shooting. the subs work fine, i have them hooked up to another amp for now.

its toast around 3 or 4 on one side and about 2 on the other side.

those burn marks dont look like they came from the mosfets. Might be the legs on the 'fets vibrated and cracked the solder causing the burning on the board..

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
