Sid420 Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 If I tune my box wicked low like 26-29 hz could that make my box peak at a lower hz? Or it that with slot of power also? But i want to build one for winter so would this like get a lot of flex and air?

But i want to build one for winter so would this like get a lot of flex and air? if i understand you correctly, you want to make a really low tuned box? it's kind of dependent on the sub and power and everything, but yes if you tune the box lower, it's peak output should, in theory be lower. you should keep in touch with Bigsix. i just designed him a box for his 18" Xcon. it's tuned to about 30 hz which is pretty low. once he builds it he could probably give you a pretty good idea of what a low tuned box is like. Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
