bokeson
So today I got a 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo. It has the Infinity gold speakers in it and it sounds great except for the two speakers up by the windshield. They are really scratchy and just sound bad. I don't know what size they are so I guess that would be my question. What size are the speakers that are up by the winshield?

THEKINGsBACK
Should be 3.5s Quote he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

MOTHERSHIP
they are around a 2" or so midrange/tweeter. if you replace them with normal tweeters you will be missing a large portion of midrange as the doors are crossed over pretty low. the best thing to do is replace with oem if youre just looking to fix it. if you want to go aftermarket you can always bypass the factory amp to lose the crossovers but youre still losing sound quality this way.
